Timelapse Malta is proud to support MSC Cruises in the advanced monitoring of its shipyard operations in Malta. To guarantee continuous and efficient control over the progress of the works, five SMART monitoring devices have been installed on site, providing a real-time visual monitoring system optimised for complex, long-term projects.

Thanks to our technology, the operational team can count on 24/7 remote monitoring through a dedicated platform, automatic time-lapse video generation for internal documentation and client communication, automatic blurring of sensitive images in full compliance with privacy regulations, and smart alerts for anomaly detection and safety protocol compliance.

MSC Cruises has acquired 50% of the Palumbo Malta shipyard to strengthen the maintenance of its Mediterranean fleet. The yard specialises in advanced works, including LNG-powered vessels, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation — a joint venture that reinforces the local economy and makes Malta a strategic hub for ship repairs.
